|Ruminant program held in Nov.|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Each year the Colorado State University Small Ruminant Work Team conducts an annual Small Ruminant Program. This year’s program will be held in northeastern Colorado at the Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke Saturday, Nov. 14.
The program will consist of presentations in the meeting room and “hands on demonstrations” in the outer pavilion, so please dress appropriately.
Areas the six expert presenters will be discussing include zoonotic diseases, feeding, selection, wool management, record keeping, body condition scoring, flock calendars and profitability.
Lunch will be provided, so a registration deadline of Nov. 10 is necessary to plan the meal. Registration forms can be found at the Extension office or online at http://goldenplains.colostate.edu/.
