|Lee college yearbook is Pacemaker Finalist|

Holyoke Enterprise reporter Chris Lee was recently notified that his college yearbook and stuent newspaper received awards for excellence at the Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Advisers National Convention in Austin, Texas Oct. 28-Nov. 1.
Lee served as editor of Northwest Missouri State University’s 2008 Tower yearbook, which received a Pacemaker Finalist Award, placing it in the top 15 of all college yearbooks nationally.
Since 1927, the Pacemaker has been the highest honor available to Associated Collegiate Press members. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards in collegiate journalism.
The Northwest Missourian, NWMSU’s student newspaper, placed second in the Best of Show category for small school publication websites for its www.NwMissouriNews.com site. It also placed third in the Best of Show category in multimedia packages for its coverage of Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski’s inauguration.
Lee served as Community News Editor for The Northwest Missourian from August through December of 2008.
He earned a B.S. degree in journalism from NWMSU in December of 2008.
While at NWMSU, Lee earned first place in yearbook sports photograhy in 2007 from the Missouri College Media Association and was named Tower Yearbook Photographer of the Year in 2007-08.
