HHS girls’ varsity basketball entered the holiday season with back-to-back wins on the road Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19 and 20. The Lady Dragons defeated Haxtun 57-36 Friday and topped Sedgwick County 43-36 at Ovid Saturday. Complete reports of the games will be in next week’s Enterprise. In junior varsity action prior to the holidays, Holyoke dominated Haxtun 39-23 and squeaked by Sedgwick County 30-29. Both jayvee match-ups were three-quarter contests. Dragon basketball action takes a holiday break and will resume Friday, Jan. 9 when HHS hosts Merino. |
