JV boys pick up two convincing wins PDF Print E-mail

HHS boys’ jayvee basketball team picked up two wins with victories over Brush and Akron.

Brush visited Holyoke Friday, Dec. 11 and the Dragons won 45-32. The next night the boys walked away with a convincing 61-34 win over Akron.

Holyoke JV 45, Brush 32

The Dragons jumped out to an early 12-8 lead and never looked back.

Alex Quintana led scoring with 16 followed by Austin Killin and Seth Baker each with six. Cody Fricke added five, Deyten Klein and Jeremy Loutensock both had four while Brett Cumming and Jaydin Goldenstein each scored two.

Baker and Klein each finished perfect from the free throw line going two for two.

Holyoke JV 61, Akron 34

At Akron, Holyoke got out to a fast start taking a huge 34-11 lead into halftime and eventually winning 61-34.

Goldenstein scored 16 followed by Quintana with 11. Killin, Cumming and Baker each added seven, Klein five, Cody Fricke four, Chris Bieber two and Logan Zeiler and Bradley Coyne each with one.
