|Missoula Children's to perform 'The Pied Piper'|

Take a trip to Hamelin Town on Saturday, Jan. 16, with the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and over 50 Ogallala, Neb. area students as they perform an original musical adaptation of the classic tale, The Pied Piper.
Among the roles to be cast are the Pied Piper, Sara, the Mayor’s son and daughter, the Mayor’s Council, cooks, townskids and the troublesome rats.
Students, grades K-12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
Auditions for The Pied Piper will be Monday, Jan. 11, from 4-6 p.m. at Prairie View Elementary in Ogallala. Children must be there promptly at 4 p.m. to be eligible to audition.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 4-6 p.m. (usually for the younger performers) and 6:30-8:30 each day.
The Pied Piper will be presented at 3 and 7 p.m. at the Ogallala High School Lecture Hall on Saturday, Jan. 16.
Tickets for each performance may be purchased at the door. Ogallala Regional Arts Council members may be admitted with their membership card.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Ogallala is sponsored by the Ogallala Regional Arts Council and Ogallala Optimists.
