|Kiessling to speak|

It’s a challenging question but Rebecca Kiessling has the right to ask it.
Conceived in a rape and nearly aborted by her mother, Kiessling explores a question: “Have you ever considered how really insulting it is to say to someone, ‘I think your mother should have been able to abort you’?”
Kiessling has spent years detailing her personal story in television interviews, articles, essays and brochures. She speaks nationally on the topic and, as a family lawyer, has handled cases dealing with questions regarding protection of preborn human life.
Kiessling will speak in northeast Colorado in January at A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado’s fundraising banquets in January.
The Center will host three banquets this year: Jan. 21 at Mark Arndt Events Center at the Brush Fairgrounds, Jan. 22 at the Yuma Community Center and Jan. 23 at the new Phillips County Events Center in Holyoke.
Last year’s speaker, Gianna Jessen, shared her message as an abortion-survivor to standing-room-only crowds in Akron and Holyoke. This year, the Center has added a third site which will allow more people to hear Kiessling’s message.
The Center annually hosts banquet fundraisers to raise awareness of the work of the Center and also to solicit funds for the year’s operations.
