|Visitor has hunting concerns|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
My brother and I came to Holyoke over the weekend of Jan. 17-19 on a cheap hunting trip. Everyone we talked to was friendly and courteous.
I have hunted pheasants around Holyoke, Yuma and Wray off and on since 1968 when I was 14.
This past trip we found something new. On the Colorado Division of Wildlife walk-in access areas, many of them had landowner permission required signs. That is not a problem since I agree the owner should retain the right to know who and how many people are on his property.
What my issue is, please put either your address, phone number or a contact point on these signs.
Quite frankly the situation this year probably will have us go to Kansas, Iowa or South Dakota in the future.
