 During the MMH anniversary celebration Hospital Board president Steve Young and administrator John Ayoub welcomed community members, speaking on the importance of the community in reaching this great landmark. In 1960, the East Phillips County Hospital District was established; Thursday, July 22 the community celebrated 50 years of healthcare progress. Upon entering the lobby, visitors signed the guestbook, received a friendly greeting from the staff and a complimentary first aid kit, and were on their way to enjoy the evening of celebration.
