4-H and FFA livestock sales went well at the Phillips County Fair sale Saturday, July 31.
Kendra Timm’s Grand Champion Market Lamb was purchased by Colorado Agri Products.
Katie Gibson’s Grand Champion Market Goat was purchased by Miller & Associates, and Hannah Gillmore’s Reserve Grand Champion by Vieselmeyer Seed.
Tyler Camblin’s Grand Champion Market Beef went to Harchelroad Motors, and Austin Vieselmeyer’s Reserve Grand Champion to Colorado Agri Products.
Austin Vieselmeyer’s Reserve Grand Champion Swine project was purchased by Vieselmeyer Seed.
Poultry purchases were made by MV Equipment, Grainland Co-op and Wolf Auto.
Other sheep purchasers were Tommy Thompson, VY Trucking, Haxtun Super, Jake’s Feed, First Pioneer National Bank, Southern Cross Ranch/Rick Lett, Paoli Farmers Co-op, Leon Atkins Motors, Gerk Funeral Home and Lamac Pioneer Seed.
Other goat purchasers were Nebrado, Woody’s Pivot Service, NAPA Auto Sales, Gerk Funeral Home, Scholl Oil and Points West Bank.
Other beef purchasers were Holyoke Marketplace, MV Equipment, Joe Kinnie, Midwest PMS and TAG Farms, Woody’s Pivot Service, Grainland Co-op, Haxtun Locker Plant/Bamford Feedyard, Oliver Ins. Agency, Timmerman & Sons, Hi Plains Livestock, Thompson Electric, Rod Salvador and Warren Wagner.
Other swine purchasers were Holyoke Vet Clinic/Northeast Feed, First Pioneer National Bank, Vieselmeyer Seed, Korf Continental, Premier Farm Credit, Paoli Farmers Co-op, Sonnenberg Agency, Harchelroad Motors, H&H Haying, Grainland Co-op, Agora Wealth, Hassler Crop Insurance, Eldon Heermann, Sterling Livestock/Tempel Vet Clinic, Nebrado, Bar Lo Cafe and Oliver Insurance Agency.
General donors for this year’s Junior Livestock Sale were Bank of Colorado, Superior Livestock (Jerry Armstrong) and Points West Bank.
