HHS golfers keep busy PDF Print E-mail

Holyoke boys’ golf team chipped away at two more tournaments on their schedule last week.

They played host to teams at Ballyneal Tuesday, Aug. 17 and traveled to Eaton Thursday, Aug. 19.

Four golfers hit the course at Ballyneal where Kent Hiller turned in the team’s low round of 84. Keaton Arkulari and Deyten Klein followed with 89s while Coleton Spitz carded a 93.

In Eaton the team took 18th after shooting a team score of 271.

Arkulari led the team with an 82 followed by Hiller who carded an 86.

Klein and Spitz rounded out scoring with 103 and 107 respectively.

Golfers are scheduled to hit a couple of different courses Thursday, Aug. 26. The varsity team will travel to Jefferson Academy with tee off scheduled for 7:30 a.m.

The junior varsity team will tee off at 8:30 a.m. in Fort Morgan.
