|Holyoke to meet Valley HS Friday|

With a 12-4 record, Holyoke enters the state 3A softball tournament as the #10 seed.
The Lady Dragons will meet #7 Valley (17-5) at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at Aurora Sports Park in Aurora.
Four games will be played at 10 a.m. Friday and four more at 12:15, with winners of the eight ball games advancing to quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 23, semifinal ball games will start at 10 a.m., and the 3A state championship will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Directions to state softball offered
Those wishing to travel to the state softball tournament Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22-23 to watch the Holyoke Dragons are given a couple of different options as offered by Google Maps.
For the route using toll roads:
—travel towards Denver on Interstate 76 from Sterling for 106 miles and take exit 18 merging onto E-470 South toward Limon and travel for 15.2 miles. —take exit 20 for Smith Road toward I-70/Aurora/Denver/Limon/Gun Club Rd and travel for 0.7 miles.
—keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-70/Aurora/Denver and merge onto I-70 West and travel for 0.8 miles.
—take exit 288 on the left to merge onto US-40 W/E Colfax Ave/I-70 Bus. West and travel for 1.8 miles.
—turn left at Dunkirk Street/E. Sports Park Drive and travel for 0.2 miles.
For the route avoiding toll roads:
—travel towards Denver on Interstate 76 from Sterling for 115 miles and exit onto US-6 W/US-85 S/Vasquez BLVD toward Commerce City and travel for 3.7 miles.
—merge onto I-270 E via the ramp to Limon and travel for 3.8 miles.
—merge onto I-70 East and travel for 5.5 miles.
—take exit 286 for Tower Road and travel for 0.3 miles.
—turn right at Tower Road and travel for 1.2 miles.
—turn left at East Colfax Ave/I-70 Bus E and travel for 0.5 miles.
—Turn right at Dunkirk Street/ E. Sports Park Drive.
