|More support for question 3B offered|

As the community heads to vote in a few short weeks, I would ask that they vote YES on 3B. I, like many other community members, had some concerns about the school district and the direction it was headed.
I decided a few years ago to start attending school board meetings and asking questions. I also became a part of the High School Accountability team which enabled me to become more informed on the current issues and the needs the school district was facing.
Last year, I was also fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take a technology field trip to another school district. That was an eye opening experience for me. Until that point, I had no idea just how far behind our technology was.
Voting YES on 3B would give our kids, our future, the necessary technology to promote their learning. I want to keep our school current, safe and competitive with other districts in Colorado.
Many people are probably wondering about how many other school districts use mill levy overrides as a portion of their revenue.
Out of the 178 districts in the state of Colorado, 103 districts currently have a mill levy override in place.
On the November ballot, there are 21 districts asking their local voters for a new or continued mill levy override.
Because of my involvement the past few years, I feel this is a prudent course of action for our district too.
Please join me in voting YES on issue 3B Nov. 2.
