Members of Holyoke High School FCCLA Chapter join more than 200,000 members nationwide in celebrating National FCCLA week Feb. 7-13.
Local FCCLA Chapter members will celebrate this week with school-wide activities.
Following the state theme “fccla.pwr^.now,” a daily trivia question about technology will be asked over the loudspeaker and the person who answers correctly each day will receive a Subway gift card.
Additionally, a competition will be held in which each class collects as many canned goods as possible. The class collecting the most canned goods will receive a brownie sundae party.
Canned Food Drive for local food banks is this year’s 2011 service project. Holyoke FCCLA Chapter will participate further by creating a technology-related sculpture out of the collected canned goods.
