Holyoke junior high girls’ basketball teams stayed on the home court Thursday, Feb. 3 when they played host to Haxtun. All three teams came up short against the Bulldogs.

The A team fell 14-35 to the Bulldogs. Megan Vieselmeyer led the team with eight points followed by Stefani Razo five and Rosa Ochoa one.

The B team lost 8-30 with Taylor Goldenstein scoring all eight of the Dragons’ points.

Bianca Rodriguez scored the lone point in the C team’s 1-41 loss.

The girls traveled to Sedgwick County Monday, Feb. 7 with B and C teams falling.

The B team lost 13-36 with Adilene Bencomo, Jaylene Dominguez, Megan Parker, Roni Beavers, Goldenstein and Ana Olivas each scoring two and Rodriguez adding one.

The C team fell 5-10 with Rodriguez scoring three and Lori McWilliams two.

A team statistics were not available at press time and will appear in next week’s issue of the Enterprise.

Teams will host St. Anthony’s Monday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. and travel to Sterling for a 4 p.m. tip off Tuesday, Feb. 15.
