|Brain Bowl teams participate in Ft. Morgan competition|

Students from Holyoke traveled to Ft. Morgan Saturday, Feb. 5 to compete in Brain Bowl competition.
The team consisting of fifth and sixth graders took third place and was one point from the championship round.
Members were fifth graders Anna Jelden, Jarrett Woodhead and Jair Jimenez; and sixth graders Austin Herman, Dylon Lousberg and Zach Churchwell.
Those on the third and fourth grade team were third graders Slaten Burris, Tristen Roll and Josie Herman; and fourth graders Gabi Gordon, Kyra Loutensock and Alex Vieselmeyer.
The teams were coached by Nancy Pillard.
Questions asked during the competition were all general knowledge questions dealing with spelling, literature, science, history, math among other topics.
There were 16 fifth and sixth grade teams and 14 third and fourth grade teams that came from all around northeast Colorado.
