Lady Dragons fall short PDF Print E-mail
Written by Darci Tomky

Regular season ended for the Lady Dragons last week with two losses to Akron Thursday, Feb. 17 and to Sedgwick County Friday, Feb. 18.

With back-to-back games, the second night was difficult for the team, said coach Arlan Scholl.

“We played a very good game against #4-ranked Akron on Thursday night but could not get back into a rhythm to really compete at a high level against #2-ranked Sedgwick County,” he said.

The girls have been working hard in practice and giving their all in these games, added Scholl, but they just have not been able to bring home the win in these tough games.

“There is no ‘quit’ in these players, and I expect them to continue to fight hard in each game and look for the win.”
