Holyoke fourth-grader's essay and art win at state level PDF Print E-mail

Holyoke fourth-grader Brenna Sullivan was notified Monday, April 4 that her essay
and art work she entered in the Family Community Education (FCE) Club’s “Character
Counts” essay and artwork contest took first place at the state level. Sullivan’s work
will be judged at the national competition in Broomfield in July. She won at the county
level in February which qualified her to move onto the state competition. FCE members
who presented Sullivan with her certificate Monday are pictured from left, Wilma
Halbert, Sullivan, Marianne Sullivan and Beverly Townsend.
