|Zach Krueger named RMAC player of the week|

Senior Metro State outfielder Zach Krueger earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference player of the week honors for his efforts on the baseball diamond March 25-26.
Krueger hit safely in all four games as Metro State swept Colorado Christian on the road. He batted .529 with a .941 slugging percentage, going nine for 17 with two doubles, a triple and a home run, along with nine runs batted in and six runs scored.
He opened the series going three for four with four RBI, two runs scored, a double and a home run. He also walked twice, was hit by a pitch and stole a base in the game.
Krueger also threw a runner out at home to help seal the 13-10 victory.
He went two for four with a triple and two RBI in Friday’s second game. On Saturday, he started the day with a one for three performance, but completed the series by going three for six with two runs, two RBI and a double.
Krueger is the son of Rick and Kristi Krueger of Holyoke and is a 2007 HHS graduate.
