Colorado Preservation Inc. is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing historic preservation in the State of Colorado.
The project was funded through grant money from the Colorado Historical Society’s State Historical Fund and Preserve America.
The goal for Colorado Preservation was to document the county’s rural resources and their role in the agricultural development of Phillips County.
Phillips, along with Baca County, served as Colorado Preservation’s first two targets for the survey initiative.
