Planning is beginning this week for the Northeast Rural Philanthropy Days (RPD) event which will be held in June of 2012.
To launch the formation of the Northeast RPD steering committee, the Community Resource Center will hold information outreach meetings in two locations Thursday, April 28.
The morning outreach meeting will be held from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Community College Founders’ Room at 920 Barlow Road in Fort Morgan.
The afternoon meeting is set for 1-3 p.m. at Wray Rehabilitation and Activities Center at 700 Main St. in Wray.
Since 1991, the RPD event has been providing rural communities in Colorado with access to new resources, collaboration opportunities and skill-building services.
They are looking for individuals from nonprofits, the private sector, foundations and government to participate on this steering committee.
