|Rangeland training May 5|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Colorado State University Extension will host a Rangeland Monitoring Training Thursday, May 5 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The training will be based on the guidelines within the Colorado Rangeland Monitoring Guide. The registration fee covers the cost of the manual for each participant.
The morning session will be held in a workshop format at the Runaway Inn near Joes. The afternoon session will take place out on rangeland, so please dress appropriately. In an effort to keep registration costs low, attendees will be responsible for their own lunch; however, Runaway Inn does have a restaurant on site.
Contact Michael Fisher at 970-332-4151 or mj.fisher@co lostate.edu with any questions. Attendees should pre-register by Monday, May 2. Registration fees, made out to YUMEX, can be sent to the Yuma County Extension Office, 310 Ash St., Suite B, Wray, CO 80758.
