“Jesus—the song in my heart” is the theme of the annual Imperial, Neb. Bible Church Ladies’ Retreat Saturday, Feb. 18. In keeping with that theme, women’s speaker and inspirational “Top 10” recording artist Ginger Millermon has been invited to speak.
Millermon, of Hutchinson, Kan., is a nationally-recognized songwriter and recording artist and can be heard on hundreds of radio stations nationwide.
With six albums released, Millermon has also written the book “Grace Thus Far” and has been featured on “Focus on the Family.”
Her release states, “She has an unforgettable message for today’s culture, and her soul-stirring music will inspire and encourage hearts of all ages.”
Besides the featured speaker, mini sessions during the day include “It’s Not About Me” with Jan Graham; “Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound” with Lorrie Ringleman; “Let the Song in our Hearts Join Together in a Symphony to the Lord” with Minnie Petsch and Vickie Beard; “Over My Head But Not Over His” with Nichole Welsh; and “Is He the Song in Your Heart?” with Mary Murphy.
The retreat fee includes lunch and dessert. Pre-registration is encouraged by Friday, Feb. 10 by contacting Linda McNair at 308-882-5166, Sharon Clark at 308-883-0112 or Brenda German at 308-882-5082.
