Colorado State University Extension will be hosting a cattle producers’ coffee Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Sedgwick County Extension Office in Julesburg.

Producers are invited to join other cattle producers for coffee, socializing and a brief presentation about “Colostrum: The First Milk.”

Michael Fisher, Golden Plains Area Livestock Agent, will share information about the importance of colostrum for the newborn calf, as well as some storage and handling tips.

Coffee and refreshments will be sponsored by Purina.
