A large crowd packed the house for race day as cars of all shapes and sizes turned out for the annual AWANA Grand Prix last Sunday, March 4 at the Phillips County Event Center.
A special track and computer system allowed kids, family and friends to cheer for their cars as they whizzed by and the calculated time was displayed on the screen. Trophies were presented for both speed awards and design awards.
Winners in the AWANA Grand Prix are pictured from left, front row, Abbie Dille, Karlie Martin, Caden Sporhase, Rory Schneller and Cooper Goldenstein; and back row, Nick Ferguson, Ally Bohlender, Rylan Worley, Jesse Vasa, Reghan Worley, Rylee Schneller, Ethan Schneller and Max Dirks.
