|PeeWee wrestling tourney is huge success|

The Holyoke PeeWee Wrestling Tournament has been dubbed a tremendous success by organizers. There were tears and cheers but when all was said and done, everyone was happy with the turnout.
Following a parade of teams, grapplers hit the mat for five hours of continuous wrestling.
Over 335 bracketed wrestlers participated in the tournament Saturday, March 10 at Holyoke High School. Holyoke had 49 wrestlers hit the mats Saturday with many of them earning medals.
Last Saturday’s tournament is thought to be the biggest one in recent history
Proceeds from Saturday’s tournament help fund the wrestling program.
Monies raised during the tournament will be used in the upcoming year for new singlets for the PeeWee team, junior high regional and state tournaments, travel, lodging and meal expenses, club insurance, entry fees to tournaments (JH and PeeWee), summer camp sponsorships and wrestling mat repair and care.
