|Missing sign sought|
|Written by Terri Biersdorfer|
During the week of Nov. 17, someone took a sign we’ve had hanging on our porch for many years. Perhaps it was a prank or a dare—it was certainly bold. While I can’t imagine why somebody would do this, I do know that it was unique and another is not likely to be found. I enjoy unique, fun signs; this loss makes me very sad. I would ask our community if they find a small terra cotta sign that says: “No solicitors please. We’re quite happy the way we are. If anything changes we’ll call you.” to please call or leave it on our porch.
As for those comfortable enough to take it in the first place (and you know who you are), remember that one day you may have a home of your own that you carefully decorate, only to find one morning that someone has taken something special to you.
