Brittany Young earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree Thursday, May 3 from University of Nebraska Medical Center.

She attended there for two years after completing two years at University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she swam on the UNK swimming and diving team.

Young is moving to Hays, Kan. in June to start a job as an RN at the HaysMed Center.

She is a 2008 graduate of Holyoke High School and the daughter of Steve and Kimberly Young of Holyoke.
