Jake’s Feed is now open for business as they transition to their new location south of Melissa Memorial Hospital on East Johnson Street.
While customers are encouraged to stop by, a grand opening is being planned for June.
The new, larger location allows for a retail area and a warehouse.

With the added space, owner Brenda Lebsack hopes to expand their product lines. Currently Jake’s Feed offers pet food, pet and livestock supplies, show supplies, lawn and garden supplies and fencing supplies. They also special order products for customers.
Curt and Brenda Lebsack purchased Jake’s Feed March 1, 2011 from Randy and Jackie Hale, who opened the business in 2005. The store was previously located one mile east of the stoplight on Highway 6.
Jake’s Feed is located at 39730 County Road 20.5 and is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-noon.
