A very large crowd packed into the stands at Phillips County Raceway Friday, May 18 for Fan Appreciation Night.

Despite overcast skies and some visible lightning, the races continued as fans were treated to a full lineup of fast cars.

Making their first appearance on the new track surface were the Dwarf and Limited Late Model series.

During intermission, drivers and their pit crews brought the cars to the front of the stands where they met with fans, signed autographs and gave people an up close look at the machines they drive.
