Holyoke hosting swim meet Sat. PDF Print E-mail

Holyoke Swim Team will kick off the summer competitive schedule when they host the Northwest Kansas Swim League’s opening meet Saturday, June 2, beginning at around 8 a.m.

Holyoke swimming pool will be closed to the public on Friday and Saturday, June 1-2 to accommodate the swim meet.

Approximately 40 swimmers are practicing with the Holyoke team.

Six meets are scheduled on June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, with the league meet ending the season July 6-7.

Community members are encouraged to stop by the Holyoke swimming pool Saturday to view the competition that will continue into the early afternoon. Spectators should enter on the southeast corner of the pool.

Teams scheduled to compete in the Northwest Kansas Swim League are Holyoke, Wray, Burlington, Flagler and Limon in Colorado; and Colby, Oakley, Oberlin and Goodland, Kan.
