Whether rodeo is one’s way of life or there’s an interest in trying a rodeo event, Rodeo Bible Camp is a great opportunity. The Fellowship of Christian Cowboys Platte Valley Chapter will host the seventh annual Platte Valley Rodeo Bible Camp June 17-20 at the Sedgwick County Fairgrounds in Julesburg. Platte Valley Rodeo Bible Camp offers campers ages 8-18 the opportunity to experience the challenges of rodeo life. Campers participate in event instructional clinics throughout the day along with devotion and chapel. The events offered are barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, horsemanship, break-away roping, calf roping, team roping chute doggin’, steer riding and bull riding. Entries in all events are limited. This year’s theme is “Who’s Your Daddy?” The theme comes from Matthew 18:12-14. For more information about registration, visit www.pvrbc.org or call Jody at 970-630-5465. Holyoke Enterprise June 7, 2012 |
