|Judy Weimer says so long|
|Written by Judy Weimer|
I want to thank you all for the wonderful experience I have had in Holyoke. You have trusted me with your health concerns when you were most vulnerable. You shared your wonderful children when they were ill and well.
I have enjoyed watching them grow so much and have lost my voice, more than once, while cheering them on at their sporting events.
I will be working with the St. Anthony Family Residency Program in Denver, serving the less advantaged. I will have the opportunity to follow patients through their hospital experience and in the clinic, while teaching and encouraging medical residents. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
I know I am leaving you in caring, compassionate and competent hands. The entire Melissa Memorial Hospital organization is committed to you and the community. Kirk and I will be back frequently on the weekends and look forward to seeing you. Therefore, it is not “goodbye” but “so long” for now.
