Small calendar changes noted

A couple of small changes were noted for the 2012-13 calendar, with neither being contractual issues.

Student testing dates prior to school starting were changed to Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 13 and 14 in order to make the best use of the testing data. The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, Aug. 22.

The second change involved moving parent-teacher conference dates in the calendar.
