At 5 a.m. Monday, July 2 Gano Cafe officially opened its doors for business. Working as affiliates for the parent company Gano Excel International, Dalia Ortiz, Carmen Ramirez and Ricky Quintana formed a partnership to provide the cafe.
Gano Excel International is dedicated to improving people’s lives by providing products enriched with Ganoderma lucidum, a Chinese herb suggested to improve one’s well being through its antioxidants and phytonutrients.
The products offered at Gano Cafe are unique because every cup is infused with Ganoderma lucidum. Ortiz, Ramirez and Quintana offer Gano Cafe to promote healthy habits within the community.
“We provide a healthy, organic coffee that is better for you than Starbucks,” noted Ortiz about the drinks they provide.
Available at Gano Cafe are a classic black coffee, a sweetened coffee called “3-in-1,” a ginseng enriched coffee, mocha, hot chocolate and red rooibos tea. All the drinks at Gano Cafe are blended with Ganoderma lucidum. Pastries are also provided at the cafe.
Members of Gano Excel can also order products through the cafe to receive directly to their homes.
With customers coming into the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of Gano Cafe, Ortiz hopes it will become a spot for people to take their coffee breaks or hold a meeting.
A grand opening is scheduled for Friday, July 6 at 12 noon. Community members are encouraged to come celebrate the opening of Gano Cafe to check out everything offered.
The cafe’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 5 a.m.-1 p.m. The cafe is located east of the Lions Den at 125 1/2 N. Campbell.
