Phillips County 4-H members are getting excited about this year’s fair, so they sat down to answer a few questions about their “Blue Jeans and Country Dreams!” Look for more interviews in the next couple of weeks before the Phillips County Fair, July 24-29.

Raising Ranchers 4-H Club
Tristen Roll—1) Wranglers. 2) To hit every target I shoot at. 3) Hanging out with friends. 4) Shotgun, goats, pigs. 5) 10 years old.
Theron Roll—1) Wranglers. 2) To be a millionaire. 3) Showing the animal. 4) Woodworking. 5) 8 years old.
Karlie Martin—1) Levi’s. 2) Learn lots and have fun. 3) Seeing the horses. 4) Gardening. 5) 7 years old.
Makenzie Martin—1) Old Navy. 2) To place at state on my 4-H project. 3) Seeing what I got on my 4-H project. 4) Baking. 5) 10 years old.
Ty Camblin—1) BKE. 2) I work hard all summer for competing at the fair and state fair dreaming of the purple ribbon! 3) Showing my steers and pigs and the fair parade. 4) Market beef and market swine. 5) 14 years old.
Josilyn Lutze—1) Petrol Jeans. 2) Enjoying a simple life, down the line have more horses and raise my family in a small town. 3) Selling my animals even though it is tough as I get attached to them. 4) Market swine and market lamb. 5) 14 years old.
Janessa Lutze—1) Rock 47. 2) Winning grand champion. 3) Showing my animals. 4) Pigs and sheep. 5) 10 years old.
Kaylee Camblin—1) Miss Me Jeans. 2) To work hard and hopefully do great and maybe even beat my brother! 3) Showing my animals, competing in round robin and having fun with friends. 4) Market beef and market swine. 5) 11 years old.
Kenton Bogan—1) Wranglers. 2) Taking market lambs to state fair. 3) Pedal tractor pull, BBQ and stock car races. 4) Leathercraft and market sheep. 5) 10 years old.
Landon Bogan—1) Wranglers. 2) Making pictures someday in leathercraft. 3) Combine derby and talent show. 4) Leathercraft and market sheep. 5) 8 years old.
Kylie Purkeypile—1) My tight ones or skinny jeans. 2) To be fair queen. 3) Seeing horses. 4) Cake decorating. 5) 10 years old.
Preston Salvador—1) Arizonas. 2) To get grand champion. 3) Finishing the project. 4) Shooting sports/shotgun. 5) 14 years old.
