|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
For the 45th consecutive year, artists will once again be given the opportunity to be inspired and hone their skills at the annual Autumn Art Workshop to be held in the Nebraska National Forest at Halsey, Neb. Sept. 15-23.
There will be two sessions. The five-day workshop will be held Saturday-Wednesday, Sept. 15-19. The three-day workshop will be held Friday-Sunday, Sept. 21-23.
Top instructors from around the country will be teaching classes in oil, watercolor, pastel and mixed media.
The instructors will be Ned Mueller from Renton, Wash., Karen Vernon from Brenham, Texas and Mary Ann Beckwith from Houghton, Mich.
New this year will be an opportunity for independent study. This is a chance for the experienced artist to work independently.
Participants will be free to create and experiment at their own pace while benefitting from the shared studio experience and uninterrupted painting time, all the while enjoying the “Halsey” experience. Artists may work in any media as long as it is not disruptive to other workshop students.
