Fire up the grill for Labor Day
A few years ago, a study by Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association found 82 percent of all American households own a grill or smoker, with 89 percent in households with four or more members. Shish kabobs are a fun way to both entertain guests and utilize the grill on Labor Day. This recipe provides you with some oh-so-tasty meat that you can layer with brightly-colored peppers, mushrooms and potatoes for a great end-of-summer meal.

The most popular days for Americans to grill are the Fourth of July, Memorial Day and, of course, Labor Day. So it’s time to celebrate your day off work, bust out the grill and soak up the (unofficial) last day of summer.
