Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) of Holyoke invites all mothers of children ages infant to 6 years old (in kindergarten) to come meet with other moms and learn how “Better Moms Make a Better World.”

MOPS meetings include fellowship with other moms, playing fun games and learning how to fulfill God-given roles as mothers.

The group meets two times a month—the second and fourth Mondays—at First Christian Church from 9:15-11:15 a.m. Child care is provided at First Baptist Church.

They also have a few “Mom’s Night Out” events scheduled this year.

MOPS dates to remember include:

Sept. 24, Introduction of Steering Team and MOPS Kickoff Meeting; Oct. 8, Realistic Budgeting; Oct. 22, Growing a Purposeful Family; Nov. 5, Introduction to Cathy Cook’s Eight-Week Home and Personal Management Class; Nov. 12, Mom’s Night Out: Game Night.

Nov. 19, Faith Connections: Growing Toward God; Dec. 10, Christmas Brunch and Testimony; Jan. 14, Clothing Exchange; Jan. 28, Personal Growth and Self-Care; Feb. 11, Time Management/Scheduling and Housekeeping Routines; Feb. 18, Mom’s Night Out: Card Making.

Feb. 25, Depression and Building Emotional Resilience; March 11, To Be Announced; March 25, Easter Presentation of the Gospel; April 8, Family Relationships; April 22, Family Spiritual Foundation; May 13, Tea and Testimony, Graduation; and May 20, Mom’s Night Out.
