HHS senior Chandler Gerk was recently named to the District 4 All-Conference softball first team for the 2012 season.

Additionally, she was selected to play in the Colorado Coaches of Girls’ Sports (CCGS) All-State game this Sunday, Nov. 4 in Louisville.

In addition to Gerk, other first-team All-Conference selections included Mikayla Boyce, Sarah Churchwell, Allie Satterly and Mari Satterly of Burlington; Kasse Swisher, Emily Weaver and Katie Phillips of Wray; Sherelle Brophy and Tori Papenheim of Yuma; Jayln King of Limon; and Anna Perez of Akron.

Honorable mention All-Conference honors were earned by Taylor Brenner and Katie Smith of Burlington; Autumn Brown and Kenzie Renzelman of Wray; Bailey Bair and McKenna Durland of Yuma; Angela Houder of Limon; and Chelsea Arnold of Akron.
