Written by Holyoke Enterprise
A Small Wind Workshop will be held in Holyoke at Highline Electric Association, 1300 S. Interocean, on Saturday, May 23 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
People across America are seeking and finding renewable energy solutions that are better than the options of the past. Existing homeowners want to know which energy efficiency improvements would reduce energy costs and make their homes more comfortable.
Likewise, more homeowners who are in the process of constructing their new home are looking to green construction programs to help them ensure their home gets the highest energy rating possible.
Not only are homeowners seeking to find the best energy solutions for their homes, but more communities are being developed to higher energy standards with well-planned sustainable ideals. Faced with the threat of global warming and higher energy costs, sustainable energy decisions are a requirement.
To learn more about the rebate available in the area and wind-generated options for your home or business, attend the Small Wind Workshop.
For questions about the workshop, contact Bill Midcap, director of renewable energy at Rocky Mountain Farmers Union, at 303-283-3528, email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or visit the website www.colorado.gov/energy.
