The Wray Eagles saw their football season come to an end Saturday, Nov. 17 after an 8-33 loss to No. 1 Buena Vista in the Class 1A semifinal game.

No. 3 Cedaredge knocked off pesky No. 10 Hotchkiss, 16-12, who had upset two opponents to advance to the semifinal game.

The state championship will be played Saturday, Nov. 24 at Buena Vista at 1 p.m.

Fleming takes six-man title

The Fleming Wildcats pounded Eads Saturday, Nov. 17 84-56 for their second-consecutive Class A 6-man title. The Wildcats finished the season with a perfect 12-0 record.
