|More thoughts offered on dogs|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
I have read with interest the articles on dogs. I really don’t think the breed matters.
My son had a Rottweiler that the kids crawled all over and used as a nap pillow.
My neighbors have Chihuahuas that have crawled under my fence. The first time they killed a little hen I’d had for 10 years. I told the owner I’d shoot them if they came in my yard again. They called the cops on me and I was told I couldn’t shoot in town.
I asked later about an electrical fence. That’s against the law.
Last time they came under my fence they killed two chickens. These were pets that keep me and friends in eggs. No grubs in the lawn, no flies in the house. I called the police and never saw if anything was done.
Wish I could shoot poison in my two remaining chickens that wouldn’t hurt the chickens but kill the dogs that ate them.
Never mind, I’m sure it would be against the law. Irresponsible dog owners rule.
