Holyoke’s summer softball teams will be playing their first games this week. The 9-12 year-old and the 13-15 year-old teams, coached by Danielle Olofson, Kelsey Scott and Kia Kassman, have a full schedule until the close of the season with the League Tournament in Holyoke June 29-July 1. Softball games start with the 9-12 team at 6 p.m., followed by the 13-15 team at 7:30 p.m. Scheduled competitions are as follows: Thursday, May 28 at Wray; Tuesday, June 2 against Ogallala in Holyoke (no 9-12 game); Thursday, June 4 at Sedgwick/Revere; Saturday, June 6 9-12 team at Yuma and 13-15 team against Oshkosh in Holyoke. Tuesday, June 9 at Haxtun; Thursday, June 11 against Wray in Holyoke; Saturday June 13 at Ogallala (no 9-12 game); Tuesday, June 16 against Sedgwick in Holyoke; Thursday, June 18 9-12 team against Yuma in Holyoke and 13-15 team at Oshkosh. |
