Chuck Haupt and Jeff Yahn carded a 132 to win the May 23-24 Art Vollmer Memorial Day Best Ball Golf tournament in Holyoke. Other winners in the championship flight were Rusty Triplette and Lenny Nosewicz, second, with a 142; and with a score of 143, Ryan Etl and Adam Schlenz tied with Jeremy Thompson and Josh Roberts. A total of 82 golfers competed in the annual two-day event. Other flight winners were: First flight—Jeff Deselms and Andy Deselms, first; Jerry Coady and Tom Atkinson, second; and Dave Engle and Randy Styskal tied with Rich Noble and Mike Foor for third. Second flight—Jim Etl and Leo Mekelburg, first; Rocci Trumper and Steve Hazlett, second; and Terry Martin and K.C. Martin, third. Third flight—John Harms and Sammy Jameson tied with Bobby Sandstrom and Greg Hertzke for first and second; Kyle Yearous and Dave Henson, third. |
