|Weather cancels wrestling meets|

HHS wrestlers unexpectedly had the weekend off when the Chase County Invitational in Imperial, Neb. and the Fort Collins JV tournament were canceled due to weather conditions Saturday, Jan. 12.
This week, the varsity team will compete in a dual at Merino Thursday, Jan. 17 while the jayvee wrestlers are in a round-robin tourney in Chappell, Neb.
Both varsity and JV wrestlers plan to travel to the Lexington, Neb. Invite Saturday, Jan. 19.
Eight Dragons competed in a junior varsity round-robin tournament at Perkins County, Neb. last Tuesday, Jan. 8. Eight schools were involved in the action.
Luke Stewart at 145 lbs. and Marques Harvey at 170 were both 3-0 for the day.
Javy Rojo went 2-1 at 152 lbs.; José Jaquez, Nathan Miles and Cesar Hinostroza, all at 160 lbs., were 1-2 for the day; and Sid Struckmeyer at 220 lbs. and Cody Lamm at 182 were 0-3 in the JV tourney.
