|Swimmers take on Eaton, Northridge|

When the Skyline meet fell through for the HHS swimmers Thursday, Jan. 17, the team felt fortunate that the Eaton and Northridge coaches expanded their dual to a triangular to include Holyoke.
Coach Luke Thomas reported the girls weren’t able to gain enough points to take down Eaton, but they did defeat Northridge.
Team points in the North-ridge dual came down to the last event when Lori McWilliams, the anchor for the 400 free relay, outreached Eaton’s swimmer to the wall, giving Holyoke a first place in the event and enough points to defeat Northridge.
McWilliams was joined by teammates Dani Brandt, LaKyla Moore and Jayden Durbin to not only win the 400 free relay event, but to place second in both the 200 free and the 200 medley relays.
