Swimmers defeat Northridge, lose to Estes Park in triangular PDF Print E-mail

HHS swimmers fared well in their triangular with Northridge and Estes Park Thursday, Jan. 24. The girls defeated Northridge, but fell to Estes Park.

In relay competition, LaKyla Moore, Lori McWilliams, Dani Brandt and Jayden Durbin took third in both the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay.

Brandt won the 50 free, swimming a personal best, and placed third in the 500 free. Lori McWilliams finished third in the 100 back and set a new personal record in the 100 free to place fourth.

Moore took third in the 200 free, Durbin third in the 200 individual medley, Ashley Humphreys fifth in both the 200 free and 100 free (with a personal record), Malena McWilliams fifth in the 100 breaststroke and Brittney Prottsman fifth in the 100 back.

The girls will swim in the conference meet at the Greeley Rec Center Friday and Saturday, Feb. 1 and 2 to end the regular season.

State competition is Feb. 8-9.
