Phillips County Fair Board and BST Promotions are revving up for a full throttle 2013 race season at Phillips County Raceway.

On a new night this year, PCR will now be running every other Saturday night, allowing for more Denver cars to compete, with I-76 running on the off weekends. This gives many drivers in all divisions a first-time shot at a PCR title, adding to the already fierce competition.

PCR kicks off the 2013 season Saturday, April 20 with all guns loaded for its “Spring Break Bash,” starting two hours early at 5 p.m.

The Blood Sweat & Tears Tour will bring some of the Midwest’s best modified, street stock, sport mods and now late model drivers to Colorado’s fastest 3/8-mile dirt track in Holyoke. Added divisions will also include the down and dirty dwarfs and the fender bending hobbies for a total of six divisions all in one night!

PCR is excited to be a part of Holyoke’s 125th anniversary celebration with 11 major races throughout the spring and summer, running April thru September every other Saturday night.

The season also includes one Thursday night of patriotic racing on July 4. Race-goers should pay close attention to the early start at 5 p.m., leaving plenty of room for fun-filled family entertainment of fireworks put on by the City of Holyoke following the race.

PCR is proud to have all of the major sanctioning bodies competing in the upcoming 2013 season, including all four major IMCA divisions running every time, as well as BST tours running twice, dirt car late models three times, URSS sprint cars twice, RMMRA midgets three times, RMLSA sprints twice and RMDCRA dwarfs four times throughout the season.

PCR is also happy to announce its new marketing partners for 2013 season, including Coors, Miller and 7-up, as well as Wolf Auto, Trust Point Insurance, Scholl Oil, S & W NAPA Auto Parts, Revolution Welding, Cobblestone Inn & Suites, 94.5 The Ranch, KPMX 105.7 and The Holyoke Enterprise. New to this year’s lineup is that during intermission PCR will host a Challenge Series every week, which will consist of two teams competing against one another in a variety of challenges, like a pit stop challenge, tug of war, wheelbarrow races and dance showdowns, as well as mutton bustin’ for the kids.

Ideas already consist of Holyoke High School vs. surrounding high schools, Holyoke radio station vs. surrounding area radio stations, racetrack sponsors vs. other race track sponsors, as well as the Phillips County Fair Board vs. Phillips County Board of Commissioners. Community members are encouraged to think of some ideas and join BST Promotions for all the fun!

PCR will have a booth at the March 16 Farm & Home Show at the Phillips County Event Center.
