HHS golfers second in Burlington PDF Print E-mail

Girls’ golf at Holyoke High School had another successful outing as the varsity team took second place at the Thursday, April 4 Burlington Invitational.

Just three strokes separated Holyoke, 325, from the first-place Yuma Indians, 322, in the round of 18 holes. Wray and Brush tied for third with a score of 333.

Makayla Spitz and Alyssa Cordova led the Dragons, both shooting a 107 which earned them a tie for fifth place at the invite. Caity Kramer shot a 111 for a ninth-place finish and Kelsey Kramer filled the fourth slot on the varsity squad, shooting a 123.

The junior varsity girls played nine holes at the invite as well. Taylor Bernard and Alex McCallum shot a 64 to tie for second place while Missy Slack and Kaylee Ham each shot a 69 to finish in ninth place.

 

Upcoming action

The girls will host the Holyoke Invitational Friday, April 12 for their third competition of the season.
