Residents around town were busy over the weekend, clearing away debris and damaged trees caused from the Monday, April 8 storm.
Crews began repairs on the Holyoke Golf Course Saturday, April 13 at 8:30 a.m. and worked well into the evening, removing downed branches and damaged trees. Many of the uprooted trees were so large that loaders were used, pictured above. More than a dozen volunteers showed up to lend a hand. Garrett Gordon, pictured at top, loads branches on to a four-wheeler to be taken to large trash piles.
A few blocks from the golf course, Tilo Rodriguez, pictured below, scales a tree in his front yard to remove a large broken tree limb.
